Pizza Hut has become one of the largest and most well-known fast food chains in the United States, but its humble beginnings are what made it so successful. In the late 50s, two brothers named Frank and Dan Carney opened a small business in Wichita Kansas with only their family and close friends. Their pizzas, however, were clearly a huge hit. Today, they are still loved by many.
Pizza Hut, with more than 18000 restaurants in more 100 countries, is always evolving. The chain has continuously added tasty new items to its menu over the years. The much-loved pizzeria is now more vegan-friendly.

Is Pizza Hut suitable for vegans?
Pizza Hut, until a couple of years ago was not a vegan friendly destination. Mozzarella reigned supreme, with no vegan options. But in 2017, that all changed—well, at least for a handful of locations in the UK.
In October that year, the popular chain began testing Violife at a few restaurants before expanding it nationwide. And now, just six years later, Pizza Hut’s UK menus have a whole vegan section (more on that below).
