Oatmeal with Bananas
Breakfast oatmeal is my favorite. There are so many toppings and fillings to choose from.
My go-to additions to stovetop oatmeal are different variations of banana oats. Everyone loves bananas and we always keep a basket on the counter.
My two youngest children are always most happy with a breakfast of oatmeal.
Maple Oatmeal
While you can sweeten oatmeal in any number of different ways, I’ve found that a small amount of maple syrup provides a lot of flavor and sweetness.
Some fruits are sweet enough to add to oatmeal, but when it needs a bit more sweetness, I use maple syrup.
If I have some on hand, a little whipped-cream is a treat that the kids love. It also gives the impression of having dessert for breakfast. It’s a winner for everyone!
