I’m wishing the very merriest of Christmases to you and yours from me and mine! I hope your holiday season is filled with joy, that you are surrounded by the people you love and that you enjoy delicious and stress-free food.

It’s my favorite time of the year! Although the children are older, we still look to the holiday tradition. Advent calendars, reading Christmas stories aloud, baking cookies with friends and watching holiday movies are all part.

I won’t be posting any new recipes until January, so today I’m sharing some of our long-time favorites that I’m planning to make over the next couple of weeks.

Have you tried German Pancakes yet? Served with my Grandma’s Orange Sauce, they’re unforgettable. They are the world’s easiest to make giant popovers. Instead of cooking them on a griddle, these pancakes are baked, so they rise high and gently fall.

We’re big breakfast people when we have the opportunity to eat a little later in the day, so Christmas break is a fun chance to make some of our favorite breakfasts again.
