Ingredients
- 2-3 King oyster mushrooms Large and girthy
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Creamy Mushroom Filing
- 2 tbsp Vegan Butter
- 1 Shallot Mince

- 6 oz Maitake mushrooms
- 2-3 Sprigs Fresh thyme
- 1/4 Vegan Cream Cheese
- 2-3 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt Kosher
- Black pepper
Instructions
Prepare The Mushroom "Bones"

Slice the tops of your king-oyster mushrooms. The end result should be a cylinder-shaped piece. To create a ‘bone-like’ shape, use a teaspoon to remove the meat from the center. The removed meat should be saved.

Salt and pepper the mushroom stems and drizzle with olive. You can use your hands to coat the stems evenly, then broil them in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes until they are lightly golden. You can also air fry the stems at 350°F for about five minutes and set them aside.
Mushroom filling

Add butter to the pan and add shallots once it is hot. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, until tender, then add garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Salt to taste.
