According to Petaluma, its new formula is “the first” plant-based dog food specifically targeted toward senior dogs. The new Baked Pumpkin and peanut butter flavor is made with functional ingredients such as applesauce, peanut butter and herbs that fight odors. It also contains DHA omega-3 derived from algae oil, curcumin extracted from turmeric, dietary fibre from pumpkin and plant-based glutcosamine.
Petaluma says its formula is based on evidence and provides complete nutrition, while addressing health concerns like inflammation, digestion, mobility, and a healthy diet.
